  • 2 p.m. - Adventure Motorcycling. Learn about skills and other topics to master your ADV motorcycle.
  • 3 p.m. - Winching and off-road recovery. This seminar will cover what you should carry and how to use it so you're prepared to help when needed.

  • 11 a.m. - Camp Cook-Off Breakfast. Five teams compete to see who can make the best breakfast using freeze-dried food.
  • 1 p.m. - Driving Blind Course. Watch as teams try to traverse a course while the driver is blindfolded and has to rely on their passenger for instructions.
  • 4 p.m. - Campsite Challenge. Four teams compete to see who can set up a campsite the fastest. Competitors must set up a 4-person tent, 2 sleeping bags/cots and 4 chairs.

The first annual TREAD Adventure Out event will be held in beautiful Sturgis, SD

Known for it's annual motorcycle rally, the Sturgis area has so much more to offer for outdoor recreation enthusiasts. From iconic Bear Butte and Vanocker Canyon, the area is situated in the Black Hills, with scenic roads, trails on national forest land plus easy access to several historical sites.

TREAD Adventure Out will take place at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip Campground, your Homebase for Adventure. The campground is located 3 miles east of Sturgis, SD on 1,000 creek-fed acres and has a variety of camping sites, entertainment stages, swimming hole and more.
